Shipping Policy

 

At Hybrid Motor Group (HMG), we understand that receiving your hybrid battery quickly and safely is important. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, dispatch and deliver your order.


1. Order Processing

Orders are processed during our normal business hours:

Monday – Friday
9:00am – 5:00pm

Orders placed outside of these hours, on weekends or public holidays, will be processed on the next working day.

All orders are subject to payment verification and stock availability.


2. Dispatch Times

Our aim is to dispatch all in-stock batteries as quickly as possible.

Typical dispatch times are:

  • In-stock batteries – Usually within 1–2 working days
  • Special order products – Dispatch times will be advised before purchase
  • Trade orders – Subject to stock availability and agreed delivery schedules

Dispatch times are estimates only and may vary during busy periods.


3. Delivery Areas

We currently deliver throughout mainland United Kingdom.

For deliveries to:

  • Scottish Highlands
  • Scottish Islands
  • Northern Ireland
  • Isle of Man
  • Isle of Wight
  • Channel Islands
  • International destinations

4. Delivery Services

We use reputable courier and freight partners to deliver our products safely.

Depending on the size and weight of your order, deliveries may require:

  • Signature on delivery
  • Pallet delivery
  • Specialist courier services

Some deliveries may require assistance to unload large or heavy items.


5. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times begin once your order has been dispatched.

Whilst most deliveries arrive within the expected timeframe, delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

Delays caused by couriers, severe weather, traffic, customs or other circumstances beyond our control may occur.


6. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are calculated during checkout.

Charges may vary depending on:

  • delivery location;
  • product size;
  • product weight;
  • delivery service selected.

Any additional delivery charges will be clearly displayed before payment.


7. Receiving Your Order

Upon delivery, please inspect your package as soon as possible.

If the packaging appears damaged:

  • note this with the courier where possible;
  • take photographs before opening the package;
  • contact Hybrid Motor Group as soon as reasonably possible.

Prompt notification helps us investigate and resolve any issues efficiently.


8. Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us promptly.

Please include:

  • your order number;
  • photographs of the packaging;
  • photographs of the product;
  • details of the issue.

We will investigate and arrange an appropriate resolution where required.


9. Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed because:

  • no one is available to receive the goods;
  • the delivery address is incorrect;
  • access is unavailable;
  • delivery is refused without prior agreement,

additional delivery charges may apply for any re-delivery.

Please ensure all delivery details are accurate before completing your order.


10. Collection

Where available, customers may collect orders directly from Hybrid Motor Group by prior appointment.

Collection details will be confirmed once your order is ready.

Please do not travel until collection has been confirmed.


11. Ownership and Risk

Ownership of the goods transfers only after payment has been received in full.

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon successful delivery or collection.


12. Exchange Battery Returns

Where a battery is supplied on an exchange basis, the customer's original battery (core) must be returned in accordance with our Exchange Battery Policy.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the exchange battery is packaged securely for transport.


13. Delivery Delays

While we always aim to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Examples include:

  • severe weather;
  • courier disruption;
  • transport delays;
  • industrial action;
  • supplier delays;
  • events outside our reasonable control.

Hybrid Motor Group will make every reasonable effort to keep customers informed where delays occur.


14. Incorrect Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

Hybrid Motor Group cannot accept responsibility for delays or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery details supplied during checkout.
